 The following positions are currently available:

ACCOUNT CLERK (part-time):

Performs a variety of routine and intermediate clerical and accounting work.  The successful candidate will have effective public relations skills for frequent contact with the public.  Must possess solid computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Approximately 20 - 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.  Salary $13.82 per hour.

FACILITY ATTENDANT (WARF Front Desk, part-time):

Works with customers at the WARF.  Strong customer service and computer skills required.  Must have daytime and weekend availability. Background check required.    Town of Warrenton application required.

The Town of Warrenton is accepting applications from nationally certified Fitness Instructors for the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility to teach a variety of fitness classes such as cycle, Pilates, ZumbaTM, yoga and water and land aerobics. Must be CPR and First Aid certified and able to interact with a wide variety of personalities.  Hourly rate $15.00 - $25.00 per hour DOQ.

Receive a free WARF membership by volunteering in our child care center or by volunteering for maintenance duties for as little as 2 hours per week. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Background check required.



Performs skilled clerical work; mainly responsible for managing the building permit and development application process under the direction of the department head. Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and equipment; thorough knowledge of business English and spelling.  Stenographic skills are preferred as recording for some Town advisory boards is required.  Requires effective public relations skills for frequent contact with the public. Prior experience in dealing with building and development applications is preferred.  Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and considerable experience performing progressively responsible clerical and stenographic work.  Salary is $13.16 per hour, up to 20 hours per week.

Operates medium to heavy trucks and equipment in the construction, repair and maintenance of streets, utilities, waste disposal, snow removal, mowing operations and related facilities and systems.  Must possess a valid Virginia Commercial Driver's License; copy of current DMV driving record is required at interview.  Starting salary is $33,263.
