The Town of Warrenton has 5 park facilities that are operated by the Town of Warrenton Parks and Recreation Department. In addition to managing the parks, the Parks & Recreation Department also handles the reservation processes associated with the pavillion rentals at Eva Walker and Rady Parks (see below).

Academy Hill Park

The park features a baseball field and paved parking lot.

Eva Walker Park
Alexandria Pike and Haiti Street
One of the town's largest green spaces, the park features playground equipment, picnic facilities and a basketball court.

Rady Park
Fauquier Road
The seven acre park has a paved trail for bike riding, roller-blading or jogging. Its terrain is partially wooded, but also has baseball and volleyball fields, picnic facilities, playground equipment and a paved parking lot.

Warrenton Sports Complex

The park area surrounding the WARF, the Warrenton Sports Complex, features seven rectangular playing fields (www.atheycomplex.org), paved hiking paths (click here for Trail Map), an inline skating rink and skate park, and the new Claude Moore Fun For All Playground. The Claude Moore Fun For All Playground was constructed for all children, with particular focus on accessibility for children with disabilities. The park is designed to help all children with physical, social and psychological development and provides a place where children of differing abilities and their families can come together and have fun.

Warrenton Branch Greenway
Trailhead is at S. Fourth Street
The 1.25 mile paved trail is available for walking, biking, skating and skateboarding. The park also features a renovated caboose, which is available for tours on a limited schedule. Located in the Town of Warrenton and operated by the Fauquier County Department of Parks and Recreation

There are also several state parks near the Town of Warrenton.

Rental Requests

Rental Requests for park pavilions at Rady Park or Eva Walker Park can be made in the following time slots:

1 Half Day: 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. -or- 2:30 p.m. - dusk -- Cost $55.00
1 Full Day: 7:30 a.m. - dusk -- Cost $80.00
Note: Reservation time slots cannot be modified for requests that cross half day time slots, a full day rental is required. (ex: an event from noon - 4:00 p.m. would require a full day reservation because the start and end times are in two different half day time slots)

The reservation process requires the applicant to complete a Town of Warrenton Parks and Recreation Facility Use/Event Application . Forms may be mailed to the TOW Parks and Recreation Department at 800 Waterloo Road, Warrenton, Va. 20186 or delivered to the WARF Front Desk. (Note: Reservation requests cannot be accepted over the phone and credit card payments are not currently available). Applicants should receive a response to their application within 5 business days.
