Acting Chief of Police

Colonel Louis Battle

Acting Chief Louis Battle began his police career with the Miami Dade Police Department, retiring after 26 years of service as the commander of special operations. His last assignment being the Incident Commander for security operations at Super Bowl XLI.  He is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy, Southern Police Institute, and the Police Executive Research Forum Senior Management Institute for Police. He holds two Masters Degrees, one in Public Administration and one in Education, as well as several graduate certificates. He has instructed extensively on the subjects of tactical operations, mass casualty and civil disorder response, and special events. In his current position, he is responsible for the operations and administrative functions of the department.
 

 


Ms. Lindsay Parr

Ms. Lindsay M. ParrMs. Lindsay M. Parr is a Senior Administrative Assistant for the department and has been employed since 2002. Lindsay works directly for the Chief of Police and maintains all aspects of the front desk and ensures that our citizens get the best assistance possible. She is also a certified notary public and is responsible for the NCIC/VCIN State computer system in the department. lparr@warrentonva.gov


The authorized strength of the Warrenton Police Department is twenty-five sworn regular officers, six auxiliary officers, one parking enforcement officer and two records management personnel.
