SAFE: Services to Abused Families, Inc. (SAFE) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, which provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, and support services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, who are residents of Fauquier, Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison and Orange Counties. SAFE provides community public awareness, as well as school-based educational prevention presentations to promote public support and awareness of services through education and community activities.
Services include: Confidential Crisis Intervention, Support & Advocacy, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, Companion Services at Forensic Medical Exams and Court Proceedings to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. SAFE provides information on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Referrals to Local Service Providers. SAFE Empowerment Support Groups are available in English and Spanish, in our 5 county service area.

Citizen Commendations and Complaints
