The Public Works Department provides the following services to the town citizens:

• Curbside refuse collections twice a week.
• Curbside recycling once a week.
• Curbside shrubbery and limbs removal.
• Curbside leaf collections twice in the fall.
• Special refuse collections twice a year.
• Street and sidewalk maintenance.
• Review of site plans to ensure compliance with the town's facility manual.
• Storm sewer system maintenance.
• Maintenance of  town parks.
• Snow removal.
• Building maintenance on town facilities.
• Maintenance of the cemetery.
• Oversight of the Adopt A Spot  beautification program.
