INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (FULL-TIME):
The Town of Warrenton is accepting applications for Senior System Administrator to provide support and maintenance for all Town computer hardware and software. Responsible for managing, maintaining and monitoring Town computer hardware, software systems, network connections, telephone systems and related infrastructures. Installs, configures and supports the Town’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and internet system. Must have knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of IT technologies and ability to train and provide support to users. Associate’s degree in Information Systems and related IT leadership experience or at least 5 years successful related IT leadership experience with relevant certifications. Salary DOQ. POLICE OFFICER (FULL TIME):
The Town of Warrenton is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Police Officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, in good physical health, possess a high school diploma or G.E.D, valid Virginia driver’s license, and be able to deal well with the public. Position is responsible for the enforcement of State and local laws; patrols the Town; answers complaints and conducts investigations. Career salary range $44,641 to $71,426, excellent benefits. PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER (PART-TIME):
This is a part time position limited to 29 hours per week. The Parking Enforcement Officer (PEO) will perform non-sworn law enforcement tasks. Tasks include report writing, traffic control/ parking enforcement and various administrative tasks. The PEO DOES NOT have powers of arrest and is unarmed. Must have thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures & equipment, including computers. Must have ability to interact with a variety of individuals and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must maintain composure during stressful situations and maintain confidentiality of information. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, good physical health, possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid Virginia Operator’s license. Salary range is $18-$22 per hour. SEASONAL MAINTENANCE WORKER (PART-TIME):
The Public Works Department is accepting applications for a part-time Seasonal Maintenance Worker to perform semi-skilled work. Primary duties are landscaping; other maintenance duties will be assigned depending on weather. Starting rate is $10.00/hour; no more than 29 hours per week. Open until filled. EOE.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
Part-time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator for the Town of Warrenton’s Wastewater Treatment plant to perform semiskilled work operating a wastewater treatment plant. Makes regular inspections of plant and equipment ensuring continuous and effective operation. Possession of a valid Virginia Driver’s License required. Ability to obtain Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator’s license within one year of employment. Possession of a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator’s license preferred. EOE. AQUATICS COORDINATOR (FULL-TIME) – The WARF is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Aquatics Coordinator. Responsible for designing and implementing aquatic programming, managing lifeguard and water safety instructor staff, and overseeing aquatic supervisors. Lifeguard, WSI, and CPO/AFP certifications strongly preferred. Some evening and weekend work required. Starting salary is $36,726.64. Background check required. MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR (PART-TIME) – The WARF is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Membership Coordinator. Responsible for member recruitment, customer service and supervising front desk staff. Must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to provide the best possible service to our members. Starting salary is $13.82/hour. Background check required.
